Pack of 100 Certificates - Buckeye Steel Castings Company founded by Great Grandfather of Jeb Bush and George W. Bush - 1930's - Price includes shipping cost in U.S.

Beautifully engraved certificate from the Buckeye Steel Castings Company issued no later than 1939. This historic document was printed by the Columbus Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it. This item is hand signed by the Company’s President and Secretary and is over 77 years old.

The Buckeye Steel Castings Company was incorporated in 1894 as The Buckeye Malleable Iron & Coupler Company. They changed thie name in 1908. The company manufactured steel car couplers for trains, truck bodies, bolsters, truck fenders, yokes, etc. Their annual output at the time this certificate was issued was approximately 100,000 tons.




Buckeye Steel Castings Company

The company was still in business until late 2002. At that time, they manufactured a wide range of casting sizes and shapes - including products for railroad, mass transit, industrial applications such as steel mills and earthmoving

Samuel Prescott Bush (b. 1863. d. 1948) was the President of Buckeye Steel Castings from 1907 - 1927. His entire career had been in the railroad business--supplying equipment to the Wall Street-owned railroad systems. Samuel Prescott Bush, was a close adviser to President Hoover.

Samuel Prescott Bush is the Grandfather of former President George Bush, the Father of Prescott S. Bush (Prescott S. Bush, was a senator and the tallest man in the Senate for many years) and the Great Grandfather of Jeb Bush and former President, George W. Bush.

John Ellis "Jeb" Bush (born February 11, 1953) served as the 43rd Governor of Florida from 1999 to 2007. He is the second son of former President George H. W.
