Beautifully engraved certificate from the Illinois Central Rail-Road Company issued
in 1851. This historic document has an
ornate border around it with a vignettes of indians with a horse and spear, and hunting buffalo. This item is hand signed by the Company’s President and Treasurer and is
over 151 years old. These bonds have punch hole cancellations and stunning light red coloring over the signatures. The coloring helps the signatures stand out and adds to the historic character of this certificate. It looks much nicer in person than the scan may indicate.
