Beautifully engraved certificate from the Cinque Ports Flying Club issued in 1928. This historic document was printed by Jordan & Sons. This item has the signatures of the Company's Directors and Secretary and is over 79 years old. Red Corporate Seal.

6th April 1928 - The newly formed Cinque Ports Flying Club held its first meeting at Lympne Club. The event attracted 30 visiting aircraft and 6,000 people turned up, many enjoying rides for 5/-. Flew from Lympne airport in Kent. It moved to nearby Lydd airport in 1974.
